Developers in the open-source community are facing an influx of inaccurate, AI-generated bug reports that waste valuable time and resources. Daniel Stenberg of the curl project highlights that around two-thirds of their vulnerability reports are worthless, partly due to users leveraging AI without proper review. Both urge a social response to discourage this behavior.
