Eni has launched the HPC6 supercomputer, costing over €100 million, to enhance oil and gas discovery while supporting its decarbonization efforts. The HPC6 boasts nearly 14,000 GPUs, enabling advanced data analysis from drilling and seismic surveys. It is currently the fifth fastest supercomputer globally and will also improve renewable energy production efficiency. CEO Claudio Descalzi emphasized the importance of innovation for Eni's leadership in the energy transition and achieving Net Zero goals.
