A groundbreaking urban wind turbine, the Birmingham Blade, designed by AI, has been unveiled by EvoPhase and Kwik Fab Ltd. It is tailored for lower wind speeds typical in urban areas, spinning at around 12 feet per second while producing comparable energy to traditional turbines. The AI design process allowed for over 2,000 simulations, resulting in a turbine that could be up to seven times more efficient. The Birmingham Blade is expected to launch in late 2025.
