Google is updating its Photos app by removing the Memories tab and replacing it with Moments, which will now be found under the Collections tab. This change aims to streamline navigation, leaving three tabs: Photos, Collections, and Search. Despite the name change, the features remain the same, allowing users to personalize and share curated collections of photos and videos. The update is rolling out for both iOS and Android devices.
