Apple's iOS 18 shows strong adoption, running on 88% of iPhones from the last four years and 82% of all active iPhones. This is higher than iOS 17's adoption at the same time last year. iPadOS 18 also sees good adoption at 81% of newer iPads and 71% of all active iPads. Faster adoption benefits developers and improves security.
