Meta Platforms has finalized a $14.3 billion investment in Scale AI, valuing the startup at over $29 billion. Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang will join Meta's new "superintelligence" unit to work on artificial general intelligence (AGI). Jason Droege will become interim CEO of Scale AI. This is Meta's second-largest deal, aiming to leverage Wang's business acumen and potentially gain insights into rivals' data strategies.
